The people have spoken - Dunkirk is too weird


So most of you panned the 18th century fortification shaping of this French Golf Course. By an amazing 95-5 ratio, Dunkirk's sharply angled fairways and less than flowing lines seemed both too artificial and too much baroque crap to resonate at all with you.

Could you imagine being a developer and giving an architect a seaside piece of land and coming on-site and seeing that? Keiser, Fireman and Bergstol would get a bad case of the shingles really fast.

Next thing you know, we'll have Vegas courses where the tee boxes are sculpted into the shapes of hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs. Next thing you know we'll have waterfalls and stained glass windows in the clubhouse, and heliopads choppering in players and...
